St. Vincent De Paul

About Us

The St. Vincent de Paul Society is a lay Catholic organization dedicated to helping those in need. Founded in 1833 by Frédéric Ozanam and named after St. Vincent de Paul, a French priest renowned for his compassion and dedication to serving the poor, the society operates through local groups known as “conferences.” These conferences provide assistance such as food, shelter, clothing, medicine, and spiritual and emotional support to individuals and families facing poverty and other hardships.

Mission

The vision of the St. Vincent de Paul Society is to alleviate poverty and suffering by serving those in need with compassion, dignity, and respect, following the example of St. Vincent de Paul, who devoted his life to the service of the poor.

Membership

Membership is open to baptized individuals from the parish congregation who adhere to the teachings of the Catholic Church and are committed to living out their faith through service.
