The Knights and Ladies of Marshall is a prestigious Catholic fraternal organization rooted in Africa, committed to faith, charity, and service. Established in Ghana in 1926, the society aims to unite Catholic men and women in their dedication to promoting Christian values, supporting the Church, and engaging in charitable works that uplift communities across Africa and beyond.

Mission and Purpose

The mission of the Knights and Ladies of Marshall is to:

Membership Requirements

  • For Knights: Must be a practicing Catholic man, 21 years or older, committed to the principles of the organization and willing to actively participate in its activities.
  • For Ladies: Must be a practicing Catholic woman, 21 years or older, committed to serving the Church and the community through the values of the organization.

Commitments

  • Faith and Prayer: Members are expected to maintain an active spiritual life, participating in Mass, sacraments, and prayer meetings.
  • Service to the Church and Community: Knights and Ladies dedicate themselves to helping their parish, supporting charitable causes, and contributing to the welfare of the community.
  • Attendance and Participation: Members must attend regular meetings, retreats, and events organized by the society.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Knights: Take on leadership roles within the Church and community, organizing charitable events, mentoring younger members, and ensuring the society’s principles are upheld.
  • Ladies: Engage in service projects, provide spiritual and material support to the Church, and work towards the empowerment and upliftment of women and children in their communities.

Joining the Knights and Ladies of Marshall

Interested candidates undergo a formal application and initiation process, during which they learn about the values, mission, and expectations of the society. Both the Knights and Ladies chapters hold regular recruitment drives and orientation programs for new members.
